Surrender Your Life
Galatians 2:20 (NIV) – “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”
As Christ followers, our former self was crucified with Christ.
Christ now lives in us.
We are yielded to him.
Each Christian now lives under the white flag of surrender to Christ.
F.B. Meyer wrote, “We cannot be possessed by the self-life and the Christ-life at the same moment. Wherever, by God’s grace, we erect the cross and assign our own life to its nails, the Spirit of Christ will breathe life and power.”
If we desire to experience the life and power of Christ, we must daily renew our surrender to him.
My prayer for you today is that your life is surrendered daily to Christ.
