Loving Authority
Ephesians 5:2 (NIV) - and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
Some people exercise authority with selfish motives.
Their main agenda is to promote themselves.
Christ’s authority, however, is motivated by his selfless love.
Christ proved this love for us on the cross.
When put in the perspective of his love, we desire Christ’s authority over us.
Living under Christ’s loving authority will move our obedience from obligation to anticipation.
My prayer for you today is that you are willingly following Christ’s loving authority in your life.
