Love One Another

John 13:34-35 (NIV) - 34  "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. 35  By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another."

Christ said the evidence that we are his disciples is that we love one another.

I am very thankful that East Pointe Baptist Church is a loving fellowship.

I am also thankful that God adds others to this fellowship because it increases our capacity to love each other.

Sometimes people, due to their individual circumstances, worship with us only once.

However, each person who worships here brings his or her own needs, weaknesses, and anxieties.

We all have them.

Sometimes they can seem insurmountable to us.  

Let’s take time on Sundays to pay attention to individuals, to smile at each other, to laugh with each other, to speak words of welcome, and to listen to others.

Let’s show the love of Christ to every person who worships here because only Christ provides for our earthly needs and our eternal salvation.

My prayer for you today is that you will show you are a disciple of Christ by sharing his love with each person who worships at East Pointe Baptist Church.
