Miracles Abound
Aside from the resurrection of Christ, perhaps no other event has resulted in more debate and controversy than Jesus’ conception and birth.
These miracles are evidence of God’s sovereignty and Grace.
On several occasions (the births of Isaac, Samuel, and John the Baptist) God has provided a child when the mother was barren or past the age of childbirth.
Surely these were also miraculous births.
Even more amazing, though, was this birth.
God was able to work the seemingly impossible through the virgin birth of Christ.
This proves that He is also able to do the seemingly impossible task of granting new birth to sinners.
As Jesus said himself, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible” (Matthew 19:26).
Today, trust that the God of Jesus’ birth is able to deliver you from sin.
