Celebrate Christ in Our Coronavirus Christmas

Celebrate Christ in our Coronavirus Christmas

Luke 2:10-11 (NIV) - 10  But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. 11  Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord.

I recently read an article which described some changes the coronavirus is bringing to our Christmas season.

Many of us will celebrate Christmas as usual.

Some will celebrate more than usual.

Others will reduce their social gatherings, spend less time with family, change their gift-giving routines, travel less, and spend less time in worship.

Still others will spend this Christmas with the virus or caring for someone who has the virus.

Our prayers are with them.

Whatever our plans are for this Christmas, the coronavirus will be on our minds.

But Christmas is the celebration of Christ’s birth.

Because of Christ we have joy.

Yes, even in this coronavirus Christmas.

Let’s celebrate Him!

My prayer for you today is that you are experiencing the joy of Christ as you celebrate Him in this coronavirus Christmas season.

Expecting God’s Best,
Bro. Rob
