Our hope is for our lifetime
Psalm 71:5-6 (NIV) - 5 For you have been my hope, O Sovereign LORD, my confidence since my youth. 6 From birth I have relied on you; you brought me forth from my mother's womb. I will ever praise you.
Psalm 71:14 (NIV) - But as for me, I will always have hope; I will praise you more and more.
We don’t know who wrote psalm seventy-one, but it was probably written by an older man.
We believe this because he writes that he hoped in God from his birth.
We all experience different stages in life with situations unique to each one.
This psalm teaches us that our hope in God will strengthen us throughout our entire lives, whatever our stage or circumstance.
I don’t know what you are currently facing.
I do know your hope in God will see you through.
My prayer for you today is that your current stage in life is an opportunity for you to hope in God.
