Our hope is confident
1 Corinthians 13:13 (NIV) - And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
Our hope is a confidence, not a wish.
Each Christian has hope for a wonderful future with God.
This hope is ultimately realized in heaven.
It is a confidence based on God’s promise.
It is a confidence secured by Christ’s work.
It is a confidence guaranteed by the indwelling Holy Spirit.
I recently saw this quote: The greatest enemy of man is not disease—it's despair.
Followers of Christ do not despair. In fact, we are the most hopeful of all people.
My prayer for you today is that you are living in your confident hope in God.
