Faith in God is Content with God's Answers

Faith in God is content with God’s answers

2 Corinthians 12:7-9 (NIV) - 7  To keep me from becoming conceited because of these surpassingly great revelations, there was given me a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me. 8  Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. 9  But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.

Paul asked God three times to remove his painful illness.

God responded not by removing Paul’s illness but by giving Paul grace to cope with his illness.

Paul was content with God’s answer.

Sometimes we ask for things from God. Sometimes God has other plans for our lives.

Faith is content with God’s answers.

Where in your life do you need to exercise faith in God by being content with his answer to your request?

My prayer for you today is that you are content with God’s answers to your prayers.

Expecting God’s Best,
Bro. Rob
