Obey God's Word

Obey God’s Word

In Joshua 1, God reminded Joshua to obey every bit of His Word.

He didn’t just remind Joshua to obey His Word.  He told Joshua to prioritize it.
“ABOVE ALL, be strong and courageous to observe carefully the whole instruction my servant Moses commanded you.  Do not turn from it to the right or the left…” (Joshua 1:7).

When we prioritize God’s Word we began to see things from God’s perspective.

God’s Word is “profitable for teaching, for rebuking, for correcting, for training in righteousness…(2 Timothy 3:16).

It takes strength and courage to obey God’s Word.

But God’s command came with a promise to Joshua: “…so that you will have success wherever you go.”

God blesses when we are obedient.

Be strong and courageous and don’t be afraid to obey God’s Word.

His promise is this: “the Lord your God is with you wherever you go” (Joshua 1:9b).

In Christ,
Jonathan
