God has a high opinion of you
Psalm 8:5-6 (NIV) -5 You made him a little lower than the heavenly beings and crowned him with glory and honor. 6 You made him ruler over the works of your hands; you put everything under his feet:
Other people’s opinions of us, whether good or bad, are not completely accurate.
They don’t know our whole story.
We cannot trust them.
We cannot even trust our own opinions of ourselves because sin has clouded our thinking about ourselves.
We can, however, trust God’s extremely high opinion of us .
God has created you in his image. God sees your potential for his kingdom. God crowned you with glory and honor.
God, even though you are a sinner, sent Christ to die for you.
Through our faith in Christ, God “has raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms.” (Ephesians 2:6)
Yes. God highly values you!
We also place the same value on others that God has placed on us.
My prayer for you today is that you are trusting in God’s opinion about you and having that same opinion of others.
