Open our eyes to the harvest
John 4:35(NIV) -"Do you not say, 'Four months more and then the harvest'? I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest."
I am not a farmer, but I do like seeing fields ready for harvest. Especially white cotton fields.
Jesus asked his disciples to look at another kind of field ready for harvest.
This was a field of people who needed to give their hearts to God.
We stand in this same field today. There are people all around us who need to come to faith in Christ.
Will you and I open our eyes to see them?
John 14:6 (NIV) - Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
My prayer for you today is that you will open your eyes to see the harvest field.
