Open our eyes to the gospel
In Acts 26:17-18, God told Paul, “I will rescue you from your own people and from the Gentiles. I am sending you to them to open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.'
Receiving Christ is the only way our eyes are opened to salvation.
If you have received Christ as your Savior my prayer is that you are growing in your faith and sharing him with others.
If you have not received Christ as your Savior my prayer is that you receive him today by:
Admitting you are a sinner
Romans 3:23 (NIV) - for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God
Believing Christ is the only way to salvation
Acts 4:12 (NIV) - Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved."
Confessing Christ as your Savior
Romans 10:9-10 (NIV) - 9 That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.
