Opening Your Eyes to the Wonderful Things in Scripture
Psalm 119:18 (NIV) - Open my eyes that I may see wonderful things in your law.
Sight is a precious gift from God.
We open our eyes to see many wonderful things around us. We see our families, our friends, and the beauty of God’s creation.
Scripture is the wonderful story of God’s love for us. It is filled with wonderful things.
Among other things Scripture contains inspiring biographies, beautiful poetry, assurances of God’s love, historical accounts of God working in our world, God’s promises to us, and the truth that salvation is available to us through faith in Christ.
When you see the wonderful things in Scripture please share them with others.
Abraham Lincoln said, “In regard to this great book, I have but to say, it is the best gift God has given to man. All the good Savior gave to the world was communicated through this book. But for it we could not know right from wrong. All things most desirable for man's welfare, here and hereafter, are to be found portrayed in it.” (Phillips' Book of Great Thoughts and Funny Sayings)
