Fear of our Past
Psalm 103:12 (NIV) - as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.
There are people who live with a fear of their past. Maybe you are one of these people.
It is great to know, through our faith in Christ, all our sins are forgiven. This means we do not have to fear our past sins.
It is important to learn from our past, but Christ does not want us to live there.
Each day is a fresh start in our walk with Christ.
Christ even gave Peter a fresh start after Peter denied Christ three times.
1 John 1:9 (NIV) - If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
My prayer for you today is that your faith in God’s forgiveness is overcoming your fear of your past.
