Overcoming Our Fear of Death
Most of us fear the unknown of death. However, some people are afraid of death because they do not know where they will spend eternity.
We do not have to fear death. We can be assured we will spend eternity in heaven when we place our faith in Christ as our Savior.
If you have received Christ as your Savior, I am happy you have confidence in your heavenly home. My prayer is that you are now growing in your faith and sharing him with others.
If you have not received Christ as your Savior, my prayer is that you receive him today so you will be confident that your death on earth is your doorway to Heaven.
You can trust Christ as your Savior today by:
Admitting you are a sinner
Romans 3:23 (NIV) – for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
Believing Christ is the only way to salvation
Acts 4:12 (NIV) – Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.
Confessing Christ as your Savior
Romans 10:9-10 (NIV) – 9 That if you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.
