Walk through the Valley
Psalm 23:4 (NIV) - Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
Walking through the valley of the shadow of death refers to any difficulty, including death itself.
All of us must walk through these valleys. They are not optional.
You may be walking through a valley now.
When we walk through our valleys, we gain comfort from God who always walks through our valleys with us.
I like this quote from Gloria Gaither: “God walks with us. He scoops us up in His arms or simply sits with us in silent strength until we cannot avoid the awesome recognition that yes, even now, He is there.”
And remember, God comforts us so that we may bring comfort to others.
My prayer for you today is that you are experiencing God’s comfort as you are walking through your valley.
