Walking in Footsteps
Romans 4:12 (NIV) - And he is also the father of the circumcised who not only are circumcised but who also walk in the footsteps of the faith that our father Abraham had before he was circumcised.
Abraham was a man of faith in God.
When we place our faith in Christ, we are walking in the footsteps of Abraham who lived almost four thousand years ago.
When we place our faith in Christ, we are also walking in the footsteps of millions of other believers who have gone before us.
I like the hymn entitled, “Footsteps of Jesus.”
The refrain of this hymn reads, “Footprints of Jesus that make the pathway glow; We will follow the steps of Jesus where e’er they go.”
I am thankful for people in my life who have followed the footsteps of Jesus.
I am thankful for people in my life who are currently following the footsteps of Jesus.
My prayer for you today is that you are walking, by faith, in the footsteps of Jesus.
