Galatians 3:11 (NIV) - Clearly no one is justified before God by the law, because, "The righteous will live by faith."
Scripture teaches that every person is a sinner. In other words, we are unrighteous.
The question then is how an unrighteous sinner can become righteous in God’s sight.
The answer is only through our faith in Christ.
As Paul said, “the righteous will live by faith.”
There is no way we can earn our righteousness before God. Righteousness only comes through placing our faith in Christ as Savior.
If you have already placed your faith in Christ as your Savior my prayer for you is that you are growing in your faith and sharing Christ with others.
If you have not placed your faith in Christ as your Savior my prayer for you is that you do so today. You can place your faith in Christ by:
Admitting you are a sinner
Romans 3:23 (NIV) - for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God
Believing Christ is the only way to salvation
Acts 4:12 (NIV) - Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved."
Confessing Christ as your Savior
Romans 10:9-10 (NIV) - 9 That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.
