Galatians 5:1 (NIV) - It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.
Each of us enjoys the freedom of living in the United States of America.
Each believer also enjoys the spiritual freedom we have received through our faith in Christ.
As Paul wrote, we are to stand fast in our spiritual freedom so that we do not become slaves to legalism.
Paul also said that we are to use our spiritual freedom to serve one another in love and not to indulge our sinful nature. (Galatians 5:13)
My prayer for you today is that you are standing fast in your freedom in Christ.
