Justify
Justify
Galatians 2:15-16 (NIV) - 15 "We who are Jews by birth and not ’Gentile sinners’ 16 know that a man is not justified by observing the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by observing the law, because by observing the law no one will be justified.
Scripture teaches us that we are sinners and that our sin deserves eternal punishment.
However, when we place our faith in Christ as our Savior, we are justified.
To be justified by faith means God declares us innocent of our sin because we have received the righteousness of Christ.
It is only by faith in Christ that our standing before God changes from guilty to innocent. We cannot justify ourselves.
William Gurnall wrote this: “We are justified, not by giving anything to God, - what we do, - but by receiving from God, what Christ hath done for us."
My prayer for you today is that you are living in the freedom of being justified by faith in Christ.
Expecting God’s Best,
Bro. Rob
