Galatians 1:1 (NIV) - Paul, an apostle--sent not from men nor by man, but by Jesus Christ and God the Father, who raised him from the dead--
The word “apostle” means “one who is sent”.
Paul, and the original twelve apostles, were sent by Christ to share the gospel.
Each believer today is an apostle in the sense that he or she is sent by Christ to share the gospel.
We may have different vocations but, each Christian has the same calling. Our calling is to share the gospel
Matthew 28:19-20 (NIV) - 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.
My prayer for you today is that you are doing the work of an apostle.
