Opportunity

Daniel 1:1-7
Opportunity

Daniel, along with Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, were carried away to Babylon when Babylon besieged Jerusalem. Their names were changed and they were to be retrained in an attempt to transform them from Hebrews to Babylonians.

This did not work.

Instead, this situation would actually be an opportunity for God to accomplish his purposes.

Are you currently facing a difficult situation in your life? Of course you are. Everyone is facing some type of difficulty.

I encourage you to view your difficulty as an opportunity for God to accomplish his purpose in your life.

Paul had this attitude. When he was imprisoned he wrote, “Now I want you to know, brothers, that what has happened to me has really served to advance the gospel. (Philippians 1:12, NIV)

Corrie Ten Boom said, “When a train goes through a tunnel and it gets dark, you don’t throw away the ticket and jump off. You sit still and trust the engineer.”

My prayer for you today is that you will view your hardship as an opportunity to trust God’s work in your life.

Expecting God’s Best,
Bro Rob
