Philippians 2:5-7

When they hear the word “servant”, some people mistakenly think of a person who performs menial tasks that are beneath their dignity.

Jesus corrected our misunderstanding of what it means to be a servant.

Jesus is our greatest example of a servant. He completely obeyed the Father, even dying on the cross to provide our salvation.

So, following the example of Jesus, a servant is someone who serves God with his or her life. No matter what our job may be, our greatest calling is to be a servant.

Servanthood begins by receiving Christ as our Savior and continues through a lifetime of obedience to God.

Matthew 20:26 – “Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must first be your servant.”

My prayer for you today is that you are a servant.

Expecting God’s Best,
Bro Rob
