Humility

Philippians 2:3
Humility

Philippians 2:3 (NIV) - Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves.

Humility is vital to the foundation upon which relationships are built, especially among Christians.

Humility means we think more of Christ and others than of ourselves.

The humble person is more interested in giving credit to others than receiving credit for himself.

Humility is willing to take the back seat and give the front seat to someone else.

Jesus showed us the greatest example of humility when he said, “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” (Mark 10:45, NIV)

James Draper wrote, “We can honor God in no greater way than to serve in humility.”

My prayer for you today is that you are living in humility with God and others.

Expecting God’s Best,
Bro Rob
