Joy in Our Partnership
Philippians 1:4-5
Joy is something we experience when we are partners in the gospel.
In Paul’s letter to the church at Philippi he wrote, “In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now”. (Philippians 1:4-5)
Paul was joyful because he was not alone in sharing the gospel. The Philippian Christians were his partners in this great privilege.
It brings us joy to know there are faithful believers in our church, throughout our community, and around the world who are sharing the gospel.
Rick Warren said, “The way you store up treasure in Heaven is by investing in getting people there.”
My prayer for you today is that you are experiencing the joy of “investing yourself in getting people to heaven.”
