6. Jesus
Who is Jesus?
To put it simply, Jesus is God in human form. Jesus (God in the flesh) came to earth over 2,000 years ago. Thousands of years ago, people would sacrifice their prize livestock to make amends with God. Jesus came to be that sacrifice for us. Jesus lived a sinless life. He took on our sin and was killed/sacrificed and buried in a tomb. The Good News is that he did not stay in the tomb. He was raised from the dead by God, which provided the only way for us to be rescued. He is our Savior. He saved us from our sin so we could spend eternity with God.

5. The Gospel
So how do we spend eternity with God in Heaven?
That's where the Gospel or Good News comes in. Right now, we need a remedy for our sin, or separation from God. Because of His love for us, God did not leave us in our brokenness. He sent Jesus to rescue us!

Where do I go after I die? Many people believe many different things about this question. As Christians, we believe that after we take our last breath on this earth, we will go 1 of 2 places. Heaven or Hell. After we die, we will either spend forever with God in Heaven OR be forever separated from God in Hell.
