Celebrating in Worship
2 Chronicles 35:1-19
After the Book of the Law was found, Josiah led the nation in a great Passover celebration.
The Passover was an annual reminder of the time when God brought the Israelites out of Egyptian slavery to begin their journey into the freedom of living in the Promised Land.
Each of us needs to reserve time to remember God’s work in our lives.
When we remember and reflect on his work in our lives, we will develop humble gratitude toward God.
Our thankfulness to God leads to a lifestyle of worship and witness.
Both God and others are blessed by our thankfulness.
My prayer for you today is that you take time to remember what God, in Christ, has done for you.
