What kind of church is East Pointe?
East Pointe is a Southern Baptist church,
though our body of believers is diverse
and comes from many denominations
and backgrounds.
What is our mission at East Pointe?
Our mission is to make disciples for Jesus Christ.
We do that through personal evangelism,
serving within our community,
and reaching outside our community
through missions.
What can I expect from East Pointe?
You can expect a group of people that will love you
and welcome you for who you are.
You will see all different types of people from all different walks of life
looking to move forward in their journey with Christ. In short,
you will find a place where you can be comfortable just being you.
How do I get more
connected at East Pointe?
There are several ways to get more connected at East Pointe.
One of which is to get involved in discipleship.
We currently offer a variety of classes that meet on Sunday morning
to fellowship and teach relevant Biblical truth.
These classes are always open to visitors.
Feel free to contact Jonathan, our discipleship pastor,
for more information.
We are always looking for more volunteers.
Simply talk to a staff member or e-mail us to find out
how you can get involved at East Pointe.
How do I join East Pointe?
At East Pointe, we believe that the Bible
encourages us to be devoted in fellowship to a local
community of believers (Hebrews 10:25).
Membership at EPBC begins by speaking
with any staff member about joining the church.
We will give you all the information that you need to join.
What do I do if I need spiritual help on my journey with God?
For immediate help you can seek out one of the pastors in person or send an e-mail to any of our staff members. You will be given top priority in our schedule because at East Pointe, we are all about helping people connect with God through Jesus Christ.
How do I get baptized at East Pointe?
The Bible teaches that baptism is the first step of obedience
after having placed your faith in Jesus and in His message.
It does not have special power to wash away our sins
but is a public demonstration of an inward faith in Jesus.
If you would like to be baptized at East Pointe,
let one of the pastors know and we will
point you in the right direction.
What is available for my children?
Children are important to us at East Pointe. You can rest assured that your child’s safety and well-being are a priority. Sunday School begins at 9:30 AM, and Kidz Worship follows directly after. Our kids meet for AWANA bible study on Sunday nights at 6:00 p.m. On Wednesdays, RA’s and GA’s meet at 6:30 p.m. At all of our children events, your child can expect to connect with God’s Word in a clear and understandable way while also connecting with other children their age.
What is available for Middle School and High School students?
On Wednesdays, students meet in the fellowship hall for a gathering called Surrender @thePointe. There, students are engaged in modern worship and relevant Biblical teaching. We also offer a time of deeper study of God’s Word on Sunday nights at 6:00 p.m.
