A Crisis of Faith

Genesis 16:1-2 (NIV) - 1  Now Sarai, Abram's wife, had borne him no children. But she had an Egyptian maidservant named Hagar; 2  so she said to Abram, "The LORD has kept me from having children. Go, sleep with my maidservant; perhaps I can build a family through her." Abram agreed to what Sarai said.

Abram and Sarai had a crisis of faith.

They still did not have children according to God’s promise.

Would they, or would they not, continue to trust in God’s promise?

Instead of trusting God’s promise they devised their own plan to have children.

This plan would result in generations of conflict.

Each of us will face a crisis of faith.

You may be facing a crisis of faith right now.

Will you trust God in your situation or make your own decisions apart from God?

My prayer for you today is that you choose faith in God.

Expecting God’s Best,
Bro. Rob
