Your Eternity is in His Hands

Recently, our family lost a dear loved one.  At his homegoing celebration, one of the pastors used Psalm 16 to give us comfort and hope.

I don’t know everyone that may read this, but for all of us, our eternity lies in the hand of the Eternal God.  

David, even in the midst of terrible circumstances, finishes this psalm with wonderful words of hope: “You reveal the path of life to me; in your presence is abundant joy; at your right hand are eternal pleasures.”

There are a lot of questions and doubts about life and the future.  One thing we should not doubt is God’s love for us.

If you’ve never trusted God, do so today.

If you feel unworthy to be loved by God, know that He loves you so much that he sent His only Son to bear the weight and punishment for our sin.

Jesus willingly endured a horrific death so that we could experience a saving relationship with His Father.

The result of having a relationship with God through Jesus is abundant joy and knowing that our eternity in His presence is awaiting us.

I pray you experience God’s love today.
