Show Compassion
Show Compassion
Luke 18:40-43 (NIV) - 40 Jesus stopped and ordered the man to be brought to him. When he came near, Jesus asked him, 41 "What do you want me to do for you?" "Lord, I want to see," he replied. 42 Jesus said to him, "Receive your sight; your faith has healed you." 43 Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus, praising God. When all the people saw it, they also praised God.
Most of us get busy checking off the boxes on our to-do lists.
Jesus reminds us our priority task is ministry to people.
Jesus was approaching Jericho.
A blind man was sitting by the side of the road.
His blindness had reduced him to begging.
He called out for Jesus to heal him.
Jesus stopped for this man.
With only his words Jesus healed him.
There is someone on the side of your road who is calling out for help.
As a follower of Christ, you are called to stop and help.
It may be as simple as speaking a kind word.
My prayer for you today is that you will stop to show the compassion of Jesus to those in need.
Expecting God’s Best,
Bro. Rob
